AsRock H270-Pro4: Boot hangs at Clover 5102/5103: scan entries

Good morning

Try to replace my existing 10.13.6 installation with a fresh Catalina one...

Created a new USB2 stick with UniBeast 10 and so on....
But when I boot Clover 5102 hangs forever at "scan entries"....

Something changed in Catalina that Clover can't find any installer media anymore?

Creating the USB stick took ages....trying another stick now....or can I use now USB3 stick as well?
In High Sierra installer wouldn't finish when not using a USB2 stick.

Hmm..also replacing VBoxHfs.efi with HFPPlus.efi doesn't help as recommended on some older threads here...

Also when installing last Clover release v2.5k_r5103 over the installer stick brings no joy...

Just hangs forever....


Can Catalina even be installed on 7th gen. Intel boards?

Weird...

Installed now Clover 4961 onto the stick and now I can choose what to boot (o;

Seems newer Clover versions have a bug here...


BTW: Also UniBeast Mojave has Clover 5102, which also hangs at 2scan entries"

Hmm..not really solved as downgrading clover removes some kexts....

Seems I am the only one having this problem with the clover hang?
