Hi everyone, I have been stuck on this for four days still have no clue. Hope can get some help from here. I am using a pretty common hardware set up but I got stuck as soon as I boot from my USB to start installing Ventura 13.2:

I looked up for various messages online but without much luck. The one line interesting is this:

WhateverGreen igfx: @ found an unsupported processor 0x6:0x97, please report this!

But my RX6600 as OpenCore said is officially supported since 12.1. The Device ID is 1002:73FF, which is what RX6600 and RX6600 XT have.

My hardware set up:
  • Intel 12gen 12400
  • ASRock b660m-itx/ac
  • PowerColor Hellhound RX6600
  • G-Skill DDR4 32G
  • SK Hynix P31 1TB with latest macOS compatible firmware applied
OpenCore v0.8.8, and I followed instructions mostly from:
Basically I did every step the above tutorial instructed, especially the spoof CPU in the Emulate section and set the correct boot-args for my GPU. Now I am starting from scratch by using the OpenCore pre-built ACPI and latest minimal set of KEXT. I also tried a couple of pre-built EFIs dedicated for the motherboard but got the same symptoms.

Also the OC folder with config.plists is attached here. Any hints will be much appreciated, thanks!

I have same trouble, I use RX6600 XT, too; and i7-12700KF, ASUS Z690-G main board. @pomelo422, have you any progress?

This line is only warning. I had same problem.
I disable re-sizeable bar in my bios settings.
And all works well. But I think is not good idea
