Hi,
I installed an ASM1061 SATA controller into the mini-pcie slot of my iMac (early 2008) to add a SATA port to my system. I used Multibeast to install the 3rd party kext needed for this board, but it doesn't looks to be discovered.
* First of all, lspci doesn't seems to detect it as well. Shouldn't this card be detected even without kext loaded ?
* FYI, here are the two logs lines that could useful for the debug :
com.apple.kextd[12]: kext com.tonymacx86.AHCI_3rdParty_SATA 4009000 is in exception list, allowing to load
com.apple.kextcache[330]: WARNING - Invalid signature -67061 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0B for kext "/System/Library/Extensions/IOAHCIFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext"
though I think the second line is probably due to the TRIM enabler I installed before (working)
