I wasn't excited until I saw one in person. Just as functional, but super light. Makes it much easier to hold, carry, and operate.

It motivated me to sell my iPad2 yesterday and get a mini instead. Just love how light and portable it is.

I actually held and played with the iPad mini yesterday. It's definitely not for me- the screen reminds me of my old iPod Touch 1st generation. Since I went to the retina screen, there's no way I could go back to that. Maybe next year's model

I held one at both Best Buy and Sam's Club on Saturday. It's now very firmly on my Christmas list. I use my iPad 1 mostly for reading, and the size and weight makes the iPad Mini the perfect reading device.

My Nephew has one...
Will wait for the next version with Retina hopefully, then use it in car asa better sized GPS.
