This is a patched kext for all Gigabyte Motherboards to work the sleep properly?

Can you report more on this kext? Where it has come from, and what modifications were made to make the Apple RTC.kext sleep Gigabyte motherboards......

this is to fix the cmos reset issue.
it isnt to do with sleep.
the current patched kext in multibeast sometimes doesnt work for ML , however this will be sorted in the next multibeast release

Does this apply to UEFI bios model like Z77 board?

I heard you don't have to patch appleRTC for Z77-DS3H board ( but I patched anyway using Multibeast) but still have occasional crashing issue on wake after sleep as the computer reboots 4-5 times then I have to enter bios, press F10, then reboot.

I've got the Z77X-UP5 TH; I'm curious to know if I should apply this too.

I figured it wouldn't hurt, so I installed it. I see no issue so far.
