AppleHDA Realtek Audio [Guide]

Missed Post #1/Installation: ....Select one method, remove before installing another method; 2 methods installed, no audio possible
Missed Post #1/Support: see IV. Problem Reporting
Missed Post #1/IX. Unsupported/Non-working AppleHDA Realtek Audio - 100/200 Series
Audio ID: 2 is not correct for your motherboard, use 1
Post to one of the Problem Reporting threads, off topic.

I'm sorry if I followed the instructions the wrong way. I was told to by you to follow Post #2 (see attached image).

It was a new installation. I had not done anything audio-related until now.

But now that I have audio in this condition (outputs and inputs show up in system preferences but nothing plays), if I understand correctly, I will need to remove any previous work before trying again, correct?

If so, I can certainly remove the AppleALC.kext from the EFI>CLOVER>kexts>Other folder, and roll back the config.plist to where it was before, when the install was clean (no audio adjustments at all)

But how do I roll back the changes that were made by running the "audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command" in Terminal?

Or can I keep those and then start again after just rolling back the config.plist and removing the AppleALC.kext?

This one seem pretty confusing to me. My brain's ability to parse the instructions may not be there, who knows, but keep encountering conflicting information, so I think I'm just following the wrong instructions.

To be clear, Post #2 of Before You Install Audio
how do I roll back the changes
Post#1/X. Uninstall AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Your choice:
1. remove first method
2. remove second method
3. remove both methods, install one method
Choice 3 offers the highest probability of success

Ignored Post #20, this thread is not for troubleshooting.
2nd request, post to one of the Problem Reporting threads, off topic.

Toleda, could you please clarify meaning of "set Audio ID" in 'I. Before You Install Audio - Verify HDEF, identify codec, set Audio ID, disable SIP, mount EFI' in Post #1? My Monday brain has a blockage.

Are you referring to patching Audio in config.plist:
.....
<key>Audio</key>
<dict>
<key>Inject</key>
<string>1</string>
</dict>
.....

TIA. Great tutorial btw.

I updated Sierra to High Sierra without converting the SSD file system.
Upon otherwise successful update I had no audio.
I reinstalled the Audio drivers via Multibeast 10.1. System Preferences/Audio showed devices but no sound.
I then ran the 230 v3 Toledo script which successfully completed.
However on reboot still no audio.
I followed this procedure successfully after experimentally installing High Sierra freshly on a spare SSD so I am not sure why Audio is not working.
I have uploaded the configp and copies of the output from I/0 and DP

Please ignore prior post.
I have no idea why but audio began working in mid-session after multiple reboots with no Audio.
Seriously, mid-session Sound Effects and Pandora began playing and audio function has persisted through several boots.
I do not know why but I will take it.

IOReg shows audio working
