never used opencore but maybe similar. Will have to give it a shot sometime.

Maybe search "Intel HD 530 HDMI Audio don't work"

I Have an almost fully working build with MSI GS73VR also known as MSI Stealth PRO. I have everything working apart from the HDMI Audio.

I have used voodoohda, but it's not providing the internal speaker outs and other outputs in maximum volume. So I tried AppleALC.kext and checked with all available layout id for ALC898/899. I found layout-id 98 and 99 works the best, although it's recognizing my headphones out as digital out(i guess it's because it is a SPDIF out). I'm not much concerned about the HP out as it's still functioning. I was using BT Audio as my main out to my media center, however, it recently started sound stuttering so often, I tried changing the wireless card with an original apple one with an adaptor, but that issue is still there.

My HDMI Device is available in DPCI manager, But not showing in Hackintool.
I am using opencore 0.6.3.

BTW When iam using FakePCIID and FakePCIID_Intel_Audio, My laptop boot up with no audio at all. Sometime it wont even boot.

Any idea if with my Nvidia GTX 650 Ti I'd have any chances to use the hdmi audio? I have a dual monitor system with main ( the one with the speakers ) using hdmi port and secondary using the dvi port of my graphic card. Thank you.

LE: I've attached the diagnostic files as well ( tried AppleHDA and also Multibeast procedures with no success ).

Same result @chumdoggin, unless as you say, my applehda is altered. How can I check that?

OK, now I'm sure I have an unaltered applehda kext ( I got one from the installation usb drive ). Still no hdmi audio. Anything else I can try? Any hints from the diagnostic files I've uploaded earlier? Thanks!

I'm in the process of modernizing my High Sierra hackintosh Alienware m15 R1 I configured around two years ago. I was using VodooHDA 2.8.9, and I was getting all audio outputs activated all the time, that is the Speakers and Headphones in the Realtek ALC289 codec, 4 DisplayPort digital audio outputs through the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti (connected to the laptop through the Alienware Graphics Amplifier) and the internal Intel HDMI output.

After some work I was able to move to AppleALC and have the internal audio working, but I've been unable to make the DP/HDMI outputs appear, also using hackingtool the NVIDIA Audio device does not seems to be properly detected. Using DPCIManager I can see all devices when using VoodooHDA but only the NVIDIA and the Realtek when using AppleALC.

My reason to update to AppleALC is that, with VodooHDA 2.8.9, Codecommander does not work and I cannot fix the headphones distortion. With AppleALC I can use alc-verb and have undistorted output through them. I've tried VoodooHDA 2.9.2, the devices are detected but I was unable to get Audio through any of the DP/HDMI outputs.

I found a post somewhere saying that they had the same problem and fixed it by changing ResetHDA to false but it didn't work for me.

Also if I add the AddProperties to the config.plist to add the hda properties to the internal GPU, the only difference is that I get the third audio device in DPCIManager but nothing else changes, even HackingTool doesn't show it.
