Apple SuperDrive compatible with CustoMac mATX

So just to give a quick overview of my situation.

I am building a hackintosh render farm. I have an iMac as my main computer and I am building my first Hackintosh CustoMac mATX. I use Cinema 4D. Cinema 4D requires Client which is installed using a CD. My question is can I use the Apple SuperDrive on the Hackintosh?

Yes, there's no reason why it shouldn't work (you're talking about the current USB SuperDrive, right?).
