Apple security update 2017-001 changes build number disabling nvidia driver - Driver updated!

I wasn't sure if it was going to be an issue but sure enough after you apply the security update and restart (it donesnt force a restart but dont be deceived) the nvidia driver does not load because the build is different. just a heads up; theres no driver update from nvidia at time of me writing this.

*Update* Script provided in post #17 which will set the driver to use the new version and load correctly, until nvidia comes out with a proper update.
New Nvidia Drivers have JUST been released!
 
Did Mac Security update without restart, installed Nvidia update supplied by @BreBo then restarted, all is good, updates registered. Thank you!

EDIT: except "Could not to load Nvidia Driver Manger Preference Pane"

Any thoughts about this?

You can try using the DCPI > Repair Perms and Reboot.
 
I'm using a GTX 760, so no web driver. I presume I don't need to worry about problems after installing the update? Or am I missing something obvious here? Thanks
