OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive

Important Note
When you install OS X Lion using the USB thumb drive, you will not be able to reinstall OS X Lion from Lion Recovery. You will need to use the USB thumb drive to reinstall OS X Lion.

Hmm- so it's not using the recovery partition thingy at all- meaning it's probably looking much like xmove's Installer partition.

BTW, why buying that stick and pay again for Lion? We have paid for it before...are we able to make our own Install Thumb with xMove?

Would I be better off downloading it myself and putting it on a USB key or purchasing this thing?

Theoretically, this like the Retail DVD will allow users to install OS X via purchased media without access to internet or a Mac. We still need a method to boot it directly. I got mine today !

I haven't gotten Lion yet and wanted a retail hard copy for down the road.
