Today Apple released a few new products including 27" 5K iMacs with Skylake CPUs and 21.5" 4K iMacs with Broadwell CPUs. They also released brand new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 accessories.
The 27" iMacs contain Intel Core i5-6500, i5-6600, or i7-6700 desktop Skylake CPUs, which usually support DDR4 RAM (64GB total), although these have DDR3 RAM up to a total of 32GB. They also have discrete AMD Radeon R9 mobile graphics. The 21.5" 4K iMac is Broadwell-based with a mobile Core i7 and Iris Pro 6200 graphics.
Just because these have come out doesn't mean that Skylake CPU support is native in OS X. They will likely ship with a special version of OS X. We think full native support will occur with the launch of 10.11.1 or 10.11.2.
The new keyboard is similar to the Macbook keyboard with similarly updated keypress mechanism. The trackpad is larger and supports Force-touch like this year's laptop trackpad upgrades. The mouse is similarly updated with new gestures. All three new devices are rechargeable and come with a USB Lighning cable to charge. Like the older accessories, these should all be compatible with CustoMac systems.
