Not impossible if Intel and AMD migrate to the same processor architecture.

Hi. One question, will clover not work for Big Sur anymore?
Because Open Core will not be used.:(

Who said OpenCore won't be used?

No. I mean clover bootloader will not be used anymore. And OpenCore I don't know how to use it.

Wow, did you see the support list for Big Sur? 2013 Mac Book Pros and Airs, 7-year old hardware still supported.

The latest Mac operating system will run on the following devices:

  • MacBook (2015 or newer)
  • MacBook Air (2013 or newer)
  • MacBook Pro (Late 2013 or newer)
  • Mac mini (2014 or newer)
  • iMac (2014 or newer)
  • iMac Pro (2017 or newer)
  • Mac Pro (2013 or newer)
I hope there will be a way out.. for the unsupported systems aka dropped systems as happened with catalina...

That's true that all cpus are not perfect but Intel is far the worst I've experienced. I had three servers with Intel Atom CPU and it failed in one year. It was a flaw design which Intel didn't admit for long time. Now I'm using servers with AMD cpus and it's been running strong for 6 years. I would rather Apple use AMD cpu than Intel. Intel used to be great company but not anymore with very high employee turnovers and burnout rate. Nvidia is even worse.
fair enough, i never been a fan of celeron which i consider a cheap pentium, also i have never like the atom either, i have always used pentium for workstation but i do like the xeon for servers

We need a Hackintosh working in something like this:

Always thinking about my problem with the fingerprints on the screen ....
But what if BIG SUR is short for "BIG SURface"?
