• A simple equation to explain a macOS installation is as follows:

1. Successful Boot of macOSMojave USB Installer Disk to Utility Screen and HDD installation= Full & uncorrupt macOSMojave file in a good 16GB USB Disk+ Appropriate CLOVER Version with properly stocked drivers64UEFI & kexts/Other + Correctly edited config.plist in the hidden EFI Partition and Properly set BIOS options to help CLOVER to boot .
2. Failure to Boot= Problem with Installed MacOS and/or wrong CLOVER version and/ or poorly stocked CLOVER/drivers64UEFI and/ or poorly stocked kexts/Other and /or badly edited config.plist and/ or bad BIOS options
3. What to provide to the Forum to get help when boot fails.

• Hardware SPECS ( Make and Model of MoBo+CPU+Graphics+ Target hard disk)
• Proof of
  • good macOSMojave download+
  • Clover Version used+
  • Compressed CLOVER folder -> #4
  • BIOS Screen shots -> #33
    or
  • whole list of BIOS choices including
    • BIOS version with Date of release+
    • Boot Option Priorities List showing First Boot Device +
    • Disabled Options and Enabled options like
      • USB controllers,
      • SATA controllers and Mode ,
      • Initial Display Device , and
        • DVMT Pre-Allocated if initial Display is IGFX,
      • Lan Controller,
      • Audio Controller
• Verbose boot screen image

• Take a photo of the 'gibberish code" of Verbose Boot screen when it freezes, and upload that to this Forum.
  • Somebody may be able to read and interpret that verbose boot screen image for you and suggest your best next step.

My current dilemma

• Your Verbose boot is showing evidence for an incipient USB port failure.
• This indicates imminent "garbled text" and "Prohibit Entry Sign" error on the Display screen if you can capture it with your Camera.
• This has many causes.
• To diagnose :
• Upload CLOVER and BIOS screen shots as suggested in my earlier #5 post with links> #4 and #33
