Apple Intros New System Font 'San Francisco' with OS X 10.11 El Capitan

After just one year with the new Helvetica Neue font introduced in Yosemite, and after many years using Lucida Grande, Apple has changed its system font in OS X 10.11 El Capitan to a brand new style called 'San Francisco'. This is also the new font that will be used in iOS 9 and watchOS, and debuted on the Apple Watch. Developers can download the font packages for new apps through Apple's Developer portal.

I recommend everyone check out Input from Font Bureau — http://input.fontbureau.com — it's free for personal use and has a system version ready to go. I can testify it looks great on my Yosemite install. (screenshot - http://cl.ly/image/2m2Y1e121y1i)
