Apple just announced a media event for Monday, September 9th to announce new versions of its software. Expected is news about macOS Sequoia's release date and also possibly Mac hardware. What would you like to see announced?

The only things 100% guaranteed are "Newer faster iPhones with longer battery life. It's 15% better and FASTER than the one you just bought last year." Listen to any Apple event and you'll hear them say "faster" at least 50 times or more. I doubt anyone finds their new 2023 A chip iPhone is too slow for them.

Apple even has a $39.50 per month plan in which you keep paying them forever to have the newest iPhone.

Here's their stipulations for the deal:

You pay Apple $500 or $600 a year to rent a phone from them. Say you normally keep your iPhone 4 years, which is easy to do. Instead of just that $800 to $900 investment, you're forking over $2,000 to $2,400 during the 4 years. If you buy your phone outright and it's in good shape, you can get something for it after 4 years. Lowering the cost of that initial investment. It makes more sense to buy a new phone every year and resell it yourself rather than leasing one from Apple.

I guess it makes sense if you're "hard" on your iPhone and mistreat it so that it's in bad enough condition you need a new phone every year. Not sure if the AC+ covers user caused damage though.

Just think if ATT could have gotten you to buy a new phone from them every year when we all had landlines during most of the 20th century. They never had a CEO that thinks like Steve or Tim does.

nVidia graphics drivers available for all macOS versions following High Sierra. (If not from Apple, then from some innovative company that Apple promises not to sue.)

A M4 Pro Mac Mini Cube, but we might have to wait until October, unless there’s a ‘One more thing’ moment.

Fully tax deductible and essentially is free. ATT and Verizon both at some point had a rent your phone and upgrade once a year program.
