Rosetta 2  Result! May only be a stop-gap but I am probably the only person who enjoyed playing with the first version. Universal 2, too, sounds promising :geek:

Well folks, It's been fun. But won't be putting any more money into Hackintoshes going forward. Just doesn't make a lot of sense. I have 2 i9's. I feel bad for all of the people that just went out and bought 20-30K Mac Pros. IDK it just seems like a dick move on apples part. I mean I guess they can make these CPU on a socket of some type so that they can be put into a motherboard where people can add and remove ram. Pro users are never going to buy desktops that don't have the ability to swap parts. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I need to think and decide if I want to invest in one more hackintosh before the end of the line for Intel Macs...
I doubt I will, unless there's some work-around that materializes.

It's exciting and a bit sad. I'm excited to see how much the new ARM based Macs will outperform the Intel based ones. Sad that I won't be able to pick and choose my own components anymore.

My current build should be my last one and it may be converted to a fully Windows only PC many years later, just like my first Hackintosh.

We already knew that this day was coming.
Hopefully Apple claimed to keep intel based macOs versions up to date. And they also said that new intel based Macs will be announced, this is pretty good news.
I believe we still have a few years to enjoy our hacks until it really ends.

And who knows, Hackintosh on arm computers could be possible.

This sucks. I guess the ultimate question has been answered this year. "Why doesn't apple do anything about the Hackintosh community?" and then June 22, 2020 came. Tim did mention Intel based Macs will be supported for many years to come which gives me hope to enjoy my new hackintosh build until its hardware becomes obsolete.
