I cannot the MAC App Store to work in my ML install. I have been booting from the UniBeast USB Drive (only boot that works for me) but have added an Extra folder with a com.apple.Boot.plist file copied from my previous install.

In the previous install (10.6.8) the code <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string> was able to fix the problem of "Verifying" my computer. However that is not the problem I am having now. When logging into the Mac App Store it says "An unknown error has occured" with no other information.

Any ideas to fix?
 
try reinstalling the essentials.pkg from the packages folder on the install media
 
How do I do this? I tried two things.

1) Opening the USB from the desktop and running the installer and it told me the file can not be used.
2) Booted from the install media and tried to customize but nothing loaded.
 
Anyone have any idea how to do this? Is it worth redoing the Mountain Lion USB install with unibeast all over again to make sure it works??

what kinda ethernet card you have?
 
I am on the computer now and yes I have active ethernet. The ethernet is built in to the motherboard which is a Gigabyte EP43-UD3L (Realtek 8111C).
