Anyone use ATI 5770/5870 with Mountain Lion?

I have a 5770, which has been used in my HP desktop. I would like to use it (since it has a Displayport connector on it) for connecting to a new Apple Cinema Display. I'm a little worried about modifying it, and then it not work. I noticed there are several 5770/5870 Mac kits out there on ebay, but I just wanted some input before making the commitment to buy something that won't work. I have the Gigabyte Z77-DS3H motherboard, and I'm currently using the GT640.

I have a ati radeon hd 5770 and it works 100% out of the box and everything works a.k.a sleep and 1 click wake so I would go with that one but make sure if you do to get the pc version and not the Mac if you are going hackintosh
