I guess that would be the case.

I am just planning on downgrading since I have decided to stick with Mojave for a while until Catalina gets more stable.

The beta is out 15.1 they said it would be there so hopefully the next update will have it 3-10 days. Public release for 15.1 yes 1-2 months.

Yes its working, but you have to disable Whatevergreen or remove it.

So people on Egpu forums are having success using 5700 XT cards on real macs with 10.15.1 beta 2
Time to buy, finally! My RX 480 with 580 bios feels old..

I also had to uncheck "Inject EDID" and "Inject ATI" in the clover configurator in order to successfully install the update (Build Version 19B77a).

Now everything works. EVEN NETFLIX AND AMAZON PRIME VIDEO!!!!!

It's getting pretty annoying that Apple is supposed to be for "pros", but they only work with mid-tier shitty AMD cards because they are childish and had a fight with NVDIA

Oh well, there’s always high Sierra and the 1080ti. Maybe if Jensen’s wang wasn’t so big Apple would work with him. Kinda hard though when there’s no space left in the room.

That's strange. I know it's just beta but my Rx 580 Geekbench metal score is higher. I'm surprised
