Hi

Has anyone tried running the 2200Mhz RAM?

I'm thinking of upgrading. My board and CPU are rated to support this RAM but wondering if anyone has tried. Encountered problems or solutions?
I'll probably need a better cooler. Recommendations?

Board is "GA-P55A-UD3P"
CPU is 875K

Bagig.

I've got the same motherboard and 2x2gb Viper II to 2300Mhz, not easy to make running this speed but I've finished install mac os 2 days ago.

I'll try and I'm telling you.

I've another problem viewtopic.php?f=49&t=6623. I think I've the same problem

Memory transfer 1Gb/s on Mac os and 14Gb/s on Windows and not change in Bios

it's running to 2000mhz now with i5 760, cooler stock and voltage all auto 8-8-8-22

ram very slow again, windows works great

I ended up buying the Kingston 2250 with fan and riser.

Tried a bunch of different setting and am now running a stable system at:

bios
BCLK to 184 (tried-200 and 220. worked but lost some stability)
CPU 4.04Ghz (Turbo turned off)
RAM at 2208Mhz
idle temp 44c - Load temp75-80c

Feels pretty good right now. Stable and fast. I'll try some other stuff and post back.

Found some great info here

This score is with ram at 2208Mhz and BCLK to 184. How?

My mb just have X10. it's mean BCLK 200 and memory 2000Mhz

I've Geekbench 32bit because i didn't buy, maybe this is the reason
