Anyone having USB3 hub problems with Monterey?

I "upgraded" my M1 Mac mini to Monterey and now neither of my USB3 hubs work (one built in my display, the other a 7-port). This appears to be a common problem, so before moving to Monetery for my desktop hackintosh (8-core i9) can anyone comment on their experiences?
