Basically the title says most of my question. I was reluctant to use VoodooHDA after the bad experiences others had, but it was really my only option since not a single audio installation method worked after updating from 10.13.5 to 10.13.6. AppleALC technically worked, but front panel audio had heavy crackling and distortion no matter the bitrate and HDMI audio (DVI2HDMI) did not work. This meant to use headphones, I had to extend the cable form the rear panel audio, which had clear audio. After installing VoodooHDA, I had no problems whatsoever that were audio-related, and this is really just nitpicking, honestly.
Is there any way to update the info.plist in VoodooHDA to link one of the HDMI outs to the front headphone jack, so that I do not have to manually switch the output every time?
ATTACHED: The current info.plist of VoodooHDA if anyone needs it. I have added full read/write permissions.
Thank you everyone in advance!
