So ideally, I'd love to repurpose my Cube's original power supply housing- has anyone ever wired their own power supply?

Something like this looks like it'd be fairly simple to wire a couple cables onto it (maybe even reuse the original Apple connector for the output).
Anyone have any experience doing this? Is this a terrible idea? I know I'm dealing with potentially deadly amounts of electricity, but I'm pretty sure my skills are up to task.
Of course, it could be that this physically wouldn't even fit - I don't have my cube power supply with me at work and I can't seem to find its dimensions anywhere. If anyone has those, I'd appreciate it! Otherwise I'll measure it when I get home and edit the post with them.
