The red inverter wire should be 5V. I changed (Mactester too if I recall) the pink VEDID wire from 5V to 3.3V as per the LCD spec sheet.

Yes, ersterhernd is right. The red inverter wire must be connected to 5V. The panel VEDID wire requires 3.3V and therefore should not be connected to the DVI VEDID pin, which supplies 5V.

In the table below you can see the voltages, which I've been measured in original condition:
