Annoying Mouse behavior: does not work on items in the background.

I just set up my machine and super excited to play with it got everything working so far, but I have a nagging annoyance:

My mouse works perfectly but when I have multiple windows open for example two chrome windows open I need to click twice on the inactive window 2 first to make it active then to click the link I need.

For Example: I have youtube playing in the background, I need to click the youtube page, then click the pause button.

On my mac book pro if I have youtube page in the back ground I can pause the video with a single click.

I know this is a petty tiny thing I can live with but it's just driving my soul crazy.

Lenovo Thinkcenter M90P 5536
High Sierra

@jigglytep, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard, CPU and Graphics Card.
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard (Mobo).

Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.
