How is this possible ? AR would make it possible.
How will Apple make revenue when devices like iPhones and Macs become virtual ?
Start charging to use macOS again ? I doubt that will happen. You will still have to pay
for services and content and apps/software that Apple provides. They've already started
moving in this direction in the latter 2010s. Services revenue is steadily growing year by year.
20 years from now we'll look back on the early 2000s when we had "physical" phones and Macs
that sat on our desktops and were made out of brushed Aluminium. By then they will only be
on display in Mac museums. In 2040 we'll remember the old days when we used to pay over $3,000
for a new iMac ? Boy were we stupid. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
