An iDiot's Guide To Lilu and its Plug-ins

I'm attaching screenshots of what I see.

Yes, it actually looks strange, fullhd monitor. I can't understand the reasons for that.

@toshax,

If i had to guess I would say that the monitor timings are off ....
I assume that you do not see the same problems in Windows ?
I also assume you have you installed the latest versions of Lilu + WhatEverGreen ... if not see the guide in post #1

You could try using the "Fix Monitor ranges" option in Hackintool ... I've never used the option myself as have never had the need ... if you need help with Hackintool you should post your issue on the Hackintool support thread :-

If that does not work then you could try dumping the monitors EDID from Windows and injecting it in MacOS.
Use the search feature to find a guide on how to do it.

Cheers

No, the windows don't have this problem, so the problem also goes away when I remove the AAPL value, ig-platform-id and thus disable WEG

So I think maybe there's a problem with my configurator, I'll put it on the message, maybe I don't notice anything important.

Try leaving config.plist > Devices > Properties blank unless you need connector patches.

@pastrychef

Remove only the connector patches?
Save the platform ID?

Have I specified the correct identifiers?
By the way, without device-id I get a black screen by hdmi
Thank you very much for your attention to my problem

@toshax,

I thought you said that without AAPL,platfrom-ID & Device-ID you only get 7MB VRAM ?
If so you should re-enable the Device Properties for for those and investigate Monitor EDID as previously suggested ...

Alternatively you could try using SwitchResX ... make a note of the monitor timings in Windows then use SwitchResX to create a custom display profile in MacOS with the monitor timings you made a note of.

I don't think it is an issue with your connector patches ...

Cheers

It sounds like you need those connector patches.

I don't know how I got that problem with the wrong resolution.

Now with the same AAPL, ig-platform-id I have the correct screen size and resolution, but the UHD 630 is detected with 7 MB of memory and I have tried to change SMBIOS (18.1 and 19.1) without affecting it.

Patches for hdmi output are necessary, my screen has no dp

I will also attach a configuration file where I see this problem.

I think I use IDs for the headless mode and patches for the image output.

What kind of identifiers do I need to use to output the image via uhd 630?

Have you tried iMac19,2 or Macmini8,1 system definitions?

No, I haven't tried any other smbios. Should I test them with the same set of patches?

Are the platform identifiers relevant for the UHD 630 for image output?
