Hi all, I hope you can help me out. :)

I want to build my first Hackintosh.
I produce EDM music and therefor need a really fast machine.

I was thinking AMD Ryzen 9 3950X or even better the stronger 5950X.
I would like to use Opencore.
Can you guys maybe point me to a guide/tutorial of how to do this?

Thanks!

Are you sure the software you are going to use is compatible with MacOS running on AMD CPUs?

Apple did not use AMD CPUs in its Macs, and there are known issues with some applications such as virtualization software and those from Adobe.

Thanks for your answer Mr. Bond !

Yeah .. I found out about this yesterday ..
I work in Cubase .. and that just won't run on a Hack ... :(
Mac Pro is way outside my budget so I guess it's back to a pc for me ...
Don't really want to but it looks like I have to because there are no M1 machines within my budget except for the Mac mini. But with only 16 Gb of ram I don't think it wil keep me happy running 120+ audio tracks.

OS X x86_64 applications should run normally on an Intel hack.
What do you mean by "really fast"? High clock? High cores (you targetted 16 cores CPUs)? Both?
