AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT Not getting 144hz

Just got a msi 6600 xt(MSI - AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT MECH 2X 8G OC GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Gaming Graphics Card - Black) today to replace my rx 580. but for some reason, the refresh rate dropped from 120hz to 98hz. (It a 4k 144hz monitor, Gigabyte M32U).

I ran the Geekbench 5, the metal score is 88480 https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/4845377


Rx 580 metal score 52097 https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/4849780

so the performance seems doubled, but i'm not sure why the refresh rate is dropping.

(btw, I'm able to see 144hz in Windows 11).

Anybody have any suggestion ? (Similar situation ?)

Yes, I did. Apparently Rx 580 is old enough that doesn't support DSC, by default it able to hit 120hz within MacOS

but 6600xt is newer and support DSC, but MacOS doesn't support DSC anymore. so it stuck at 98hz.
