Please try this EFI.

Please disable any and all overclocks and XMP when testing stability.

You should also fix USB.
Please tell me, is your EFI different only from SMBIOS Mac Pro and XMPDetection No?

Or are there any other differences? Thank!

There are other changes. You can compare by opening the config.plists side by side.

There is a long thread over on MacRumors about it and it appears to be happening with real Macs that have Navi GPUs as well.

This is strange ... I gradually returned all the settings in the BIOS to XMP and overclocked the processor. I have no freezes on the 5700 XT graphics card.
I think the point is still in your EFI build, which I am currently using

Here you wrote that you had freezes due to the high frequency of RAM and the XMP profile. What kind of RAM model did you use?

Initially, when I tested your EFI, my computer crashed once during the test. I think this happened due to NVRAM memory. After a crash, it could reset itself, and after that I no longer got problems with freezes in macOS 10.15.4. I did not get freezes with any BIOS settings.

What is the XMPDetection option in Clover responsible for? What happens if it is in the No position, but XMP 1 is enabled in the BIOS ?

Perhaps the matter is in some drivers for Clover?

My Gigabyte motherboard doesn't play nice with my set of G.Skill RAM when XMP is enabled. I ended up getting a different set of RAM. The set of RAM that gives my Gigabyte motherboard issues runs perfectly on my Asus motherboard...

I've never heard of fixing NVRAM on Z390 causing crashes. I have also never heard of a crash causing a system to run more stably afterwards. As I've said, Prime95 is just one of the tests I to test stability. I also do 20-30 consecutive Geekbench runs and run Handbrake overnight.

I think Clover can enable/disable XMP. If I want XMP enabled, I enable it in BIOS and Clover. If I want XMP disabled, I disable it in BIOS and Clover.

Thank you, I’ll conduct additional tests the other day.

Here are the Clover settings that differ in your EFI from mine:

  1. DeleteUnused - No
  2. DisableASPM - No
  3. XMPDetection - No

These settings are included in my EFI.

  1. CsrActiveConfig - 0x0 (in your EFI), 0x67 in my
  2. SMBios - MacPro1,1 / iMac 19.1 (mine)

Most likely, the point is in one of these settings.

What are drivers for?

AppleGenericInput.efi and AppleUiSupport.efi. It's just that they are not in my EFI.

These are needed for FileVault to work.

My Asus Strix RX 5700 XT RAM is mostly on load for 90% all the time does anybody have the same problem or is it a problem if yes how to fix it? I monitor it with iStat menu and tried other apps the RAM is used for 90% most of the time.
Hi, I am currently using a 5600 XT build. I got the same problem. Have you solved the problem? any suggestions? Thanks!
