AMD RADEON 6870 not perfectly recognised and big mouse lag. (help)

So here is the problem:

I can use something like duckweed for my 6870 gpu card but that will give me 6xxx
Or I can leave out duckweed but then I have a big mouse lag.

How can get the perfect solution to have no mouse lag and a perfectly recognisable 6870 gpu card and not an 6xxx card
