AMD & Nvidia deprecates Kepler & Radeon legacy GPU support

Sad bit of news, but both AMD and Nvidia recently announced they were no longer supporting some of their legacy GPUS. Kepler support is ending soon as is Radeon 200, 300 & Fury cards. Radeon HD7000 & HD8000 cards are also affected.

Not surprised at all. These cards are old and support is expected to be dropped soon anyway by AMD / Nvidia. The only difference is we know Kepler will lose support soon some time back while AMD does not bother to inform us of this loss of support.

If you still need to use these cards in Windows then you can stick to older drivers (in case of Kepler there will still be critical security updates available). For MacOS there is no change to their status.
