Amd gigabyte r9 270 DVI port not working

​​It's my first hackintosh build, I managed to get everything running well but am having issues getting dual monitors setup. It must be an issue with my kept for gpu. When I boot with a monitor plugged into the ddvi port on gpu it goes to apple logo with spinning wheel in chimera then goes black and shuts off. If I try to boot with both monitors plugged in one into hdmi and the other in dvi it goes to the same point in boot loader then both screens go white. I can usually move the mouse around but mavericks will not load. Can anyone out there point me in the right direction, it has been a frustrating day to say the least. Thanks
BTW I have installed the amd drivers already, and the gpu is recognized
