AMD and Nvidia graphic cards at same time

Just have your AMD card installed with the screens plugged to it.

will just work.


so rx560 will work fine ?

XFX RX 460-560 will not work all others should be fine.

Thanks, guys it works perfectly. I use gigabyte rx560 4gb and works like a charm.:headbang::clap:

Im seeing ya are having success with dual gpu. I cant seem to get mines to work.

I have a RX590 and a GTX660 TI

I have lulu and whatevergreen kext

if i use dv_disable=1 then I can get just the rx to work but if i dont use it i get a black screen.

any suggestions on getting no lag with both cards?

Don't do this. Bad idea. FCPX gets terribly confused.
You can't specify which cards FCPX uses and you could end up in a right mess.

That is no longer the case ....
FCPX 10.4.7 has a new setting in its preferences where you can select the dGPU you want FCPX to use :-
