Hello all!

Just a few queries really. have a working ML install, network and sound!

Build:

MB: GA-EP43-UD3L rev1.1 F9
CPU: Intel Core Quad Q6600
GPU: ASUS GTX650 1GB

On install with multi beast:

i used a DSDT for my MB (i had to bios update to use it) but install went fine.
Graphics enabler=No (for the 6 series cards)
PCIrootuid=1 (to fix app store)
ALC888 legacy with DSDT
Hnaks ethernet installer
left the Mac pro definition default 3,1

downloaded nvidia drivers for my card

so......

my boot screen appears smaller than my screen size (AOC 24" 1080P monitor) it has a black border all around but my login/desktop is at full resolution?
also, curiously shows no spinning indicator below the apple Logo during boot?

anyway, I tried the 1080P boot option in multi beast, and update my definition to 5,1 but it hung my reboot from HDD?

am i missing something or is this a quirk from my components?

Many thanks,

Miles

Try this.

In org.boot.chameleon.plist add the following;

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string

and in Extra\Themes\Default\theme.plist add the following;

<key>screen_width</key>
<string>1920</string>
<key>screen_height</key>
<string>1080</string>

Thankyou TVman!

I tried that after reading your post, the resolution has become finer, but still not full screen? hmmm!

My AOC Monitor:

My GPU:

Cant think why its not a full screen boot? but as i said, everything else is? Login screen, desktop? maybe the GTX650 has to boot in native mode???????

but my other question, why do i not get the spinning indicator below the apple Logo on boot? i get it on log off? is this normal or does it indicate a problem with my install??

Regards,

Miles
