I happened to be browsing Engadget on my iPhone and I came across an article about an all-in-one enclosure from a company called Loop. It uses the Intel DH61AG and it is mounted behind an LED panel in a chassis that has all the headers for USB, and video pre wired. The article goes through all the steps and does a good eval of the chassis. It could be the solution to a Hackintosh iMac providing everything is compatible. In the article it does state that other thin Mini ITX cases such as the one from Loop are hard to find.

I might try to obtain one and see what can be done with it.

Looks nice, makes me wonder if I should hackintosh my old 21" Apple Cinema Display......

It will need support which probably isn't there but would make for an almost perfect mac mini. Don't know about an iMac though unless the specs are there to match.

Blogger JeanLuce brought an iMac G5 (empty case) to a new live. Put a fresh panel in and do a lot of wiring.
There is much room. You may put a thin mitx board in the nearly emtpty case too.
Guess, I have an old iMac G5 (17'') in my basement too. Should I go to revive it?
Hmmm.

Orderderd yust a DH61GA. Yeah!
The tricky part is to replace the screen.
If this will not work I do have a "Plan B". Put the DH61GA in an Viako ML. It's a very nice looking case too.

MB arrived today. Try to make transfer from working MSI-Hackmac to Intel.
So far no luck. Need to make it from the beginning?
