hi,
i've tried following the guide but keep getting stuck when trying to load the mac installer.
i either get a prohibited sign or the loading bar stays at zero and doesn't move.

The tools i've used to create a bootable usb:
multibeast (latest version)
a copy of "install high sierra" that i've downloaded using mac os high sierra tool patcher

Specs[Alienware 17r3]:
i7 6700hq
gtx 1070m
16gb ram

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

ok so i followed the clover guide this time and managed to get passed the loading bar but it seems like the graphics driver crash or something right after .. i get a weird black screen with weird white lines and a loading icon that ends up freezing over time.

again my specs are:

Alienware 17r3
i7 6700hq / hd 530
gtx 970m
16gb ram ddr4

i will upload a copy of the efi partition
i used the mbr method

"Problem Reporting" files are wrong (EFI not requested, attach only EFI/Clover without themes).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

You still have 'themes' there. (the file would be smaller without).
Check it yourself and you'll see.
For the future, please do not include 'themes', as per FAQ request.

Also, you forgot to attach verbose boot photo.
And Clover/kexts/Other is not per guide. You forgot SATA-100-series-unsupported.kext.

And, as per guide, the dual GPU will probably require this:

sorry you're right. just removed it.

I didn't even look at your files due to lack of adequate problem reporting files.
Still no verbose boot photo attached.
