[ALC898] Renaming Output Names?

Hi guys,

I've successfully got my Audio working using the Non-DSDT ALC898 enabler in Multibeast but the outputs all have the same name: 'Line Out' or 'Line In'. On my previous machine i had to manually setup my audio using VoodooHDA (manual pin config) and i could setup the name but looking at the .plist inside AppleHDA it does not look familiar.

Ideas?

I'm answering this old thread in case someone else had the same (good) idea: from what I've found, local names are stored in AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Resources/French.lproj/Localizable.strings (for French) and all outputs of the same type will be given the same name — probably because real Macs have only one audio output... ;-)
It's a real PITA, especially when you have to constantly switch between different monitors, but I can't think of any way to circumvent this behavior.
