ALC892 Laptop HD4000

Hi guys,


I have a fresh Mavericks install and I am having a real hard time trying to patch my dsdt and applehda.kext to get my onboard alc892 working.


My Laptop is a Medion x6823 ivy bridge 3630qm with hd4000, this laptop is a msi ge60 barbeone.


Could somebody please take a look at the following files to see if they can help me patch please -

What happens when you run:
MultiBeast 6.0 or newer - Select: Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT √ ALC892?
Reply with IOReg.

With alc892 no dsdt from multi beast after installation I get sound output and inputs but there is no sound from internal speakers.. I have a laptop, could alc892 for laptops be different ?

Absolutely. Run codecgraph for codec-dump_dec.txt and codec-dump_dec.txt.svg and verbit.

You will likely need to delete several audio devices (the easy part) and modify the pinconfigs for the remaining devices.

I have dumped my codec from linux -

The 1st and 2nd files are the same; need codec-dump_dec.txt.
Plug the Headphone in and verify sound.
