I'm running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 (with security update). On Sierra (10.12) I had no issues with ALC892 audio on my ASUS P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 motherboard. But since High Sierra (10.13) my audio stops working randomly and I have to reboot. This happens for no reason whatsoever. I would be booting into High Sierra and audio works great. A few minutes in I would suddenly notice my audio is no longer working. If I go to sound preferences I can still see all the audio devices but there's simply no sound, as if it's muted somehow.
I use Clover + CloverALC from toledo. This is NOT related to sleeping. I dont use sleeping at all on my Hackintosh. This is also not related to browsers or streaming as it would happen even if i dont use any streaming audio sites in browsers. I boot into macOS, go to sound preferences and test the audio using the "Sound effects" tab. I can confirm it works. I go about my business, browsing the internet or working on any macOS app. Later I'd notice my audio is missing (e.g. i dont hear the recycle bin sounds). Going into sound preferences I notice all my devices are still there, but that the audio simply doesnt work.
I've redone the CloverALC download and installation. It makes no differences. I've had this issue since 10.13.1 and now on 10.13.4.
