That's correct. Everything functions as expected and switches between inputs automatically. I tested by tapping on the internal mic and external mic just to make sure it wasn't picking up ambient noise somehow and it was very clear that it's working.

The two codecs in this thread are starting to pop up in skylake notebooks so hopefully they will work for other machines.

Ok, that's probably for the best. I just tested the XPS12 and everything switches, which I already knew, but I actually listened to the headphones and the sound is weak and distorted so it may be that either I mapped the pins incorrectly or it needs CC to toggle EAPD. The external speakers/internal mic work fine. I don't believe it has a combo jack, you can see two internal mics on the top bezel of the tablet. (but I'll test it later in windows to be sure)

No problem. One more piece of info, I checked in windows and it is a combo jack, but the external and internal mics are connected at the same time. I don't if that's for noise reduction or what. The way I have it mapped currently, the external mic does not function (in OSX).

Hey Mirone, I know you are busy, but did you happen to get a chance to look at this? I don't care about the Combojack so much, but the headphone audio is not quite right and I haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks!
