ALC 888b microphone (upd) + SPIDF

I've installed Mac OS X using EmpireEFI v 1.085, retail Snow Leo, then update to 10.6.5 and then MultiBeast with custom DSDT for my CPU and ALC 888b box ticked.
I have the sound output but the microphone does not function neither at the back nor at the front panel. Skype voice talks needed, but I'm stuck.
Any input highly appreciated.

Surprisingly after updating to 10.6.6 I have the rear panel mic out working, but still nothing in the front panel.

I wonder also if there is any point in buying and installing this item

Is it probable that I have SPIDF out working?

Also wanted the front mic to work but it seems there's still no solution for it...
