Currently having an issue with my Dell AC511 Sound Bar, plugged in via USB 3.0, running on High Sierra
The issue is every couple minutes the audio has a gigantic gain spike, causing a distorted sound. If I turn the sound down almost completely I can hear the audio playing at a less distorted level. Then after a couple minutes it will return to its normal level.
What's odd is that if I use my Focusrite Saffire (plugged in via Firewire) as the audio source going to external speakers it never comes across this issue.
My Mobo uses ALC 1150 and I think I have all the right Kexts installed..
