I have a ga-z87n-wifi running with an i5-4690k running 10.9.5 and I am having problems getting airplay mirroring to work. I am brand new to building a hackintosh but so far have had an easy time getting everything working except for this (and iMessage, but I want to resolve that after I get airplay mirroring working). When I enable mirroring I get audio but no video, usually a black screen for about 30 seconds and then after a while it might show a still of my screen. In addition to this I also can't get airparrot to work (it connects but is slow and choppy).
The apple tv is connected to a 5ghz wireless N network, with very good signal, and my machine is connected via ethernet from a powerline ethernet adapter. I tested the adapter with an older macbook pro using airparrot and that worked smoothly so I don't think the powerline adapter is the issue.
Does anyone have any ideas? I followed the guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...ete-graphics-working-together.html#post784770 but ignored anything about discrete graphics because I am only using the integrated graphics (intel hd 4600) right now.
Thanks for helping out a newbie!
