Hi all

I've just realised that AirDrop is not working on my Hackintosh and my MacBook 2015.

I've realised on my MacBook 2015, in order to see older machines like my MBA 2013 that is running Mavericks, I need to click "Don't see who you're looking for" and then click "Search for an older mac". At this point, my MB sees my old MBA, but for some reason, I don't have this setting in my Hackintosh when I click on airdrop.

Anyone fixed this?

Thanks

I think I may have fixed the problem. I'm not sure which single step solved it, however I implemented the changes below:

In Terminal I typed in this command:

defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces -bool true

And then:

killall Finder

Also, I downloaded the AirDrop Enabler program from the tonymac forums, I don't have a link I'm afraid. But I ran that programme, restarted, and on my retina MacBook 2015, if I click for search for older macs, my Mackintosh will find the retina macbook, and the retina macbook will find the mackintosh

I hope this helps someone.
