Hey guys! Quick question. I just recently got my new coffee lake Hackintosh up and running and ran into this bug. Everything is working flawlessly except for AirDrop and for whatever reason it's missing from the Finder. I've attached a few screenshots to show you all what I'm seeing. I'm running High Sierra and Bluetooth works just fine. I also found the actual AirDrop app but every time I try to open it it says "item can't be found".

Anyway, any suggestions? Am I completely missing something?

Would appreciate your expertise!

Thanks!

I am not sure it is going to work but still worth trying:
  • Launch Terminal
  • Type and ENTER the following command:
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces 1 [ENTER]
next restart Finder by the following command :
killall Finder [ENTER]

Check Finder and see if Airdrop has come.

Tried that and still nothing. :/

Try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist and then reboot to see if it is due to a corrupt Finder plist and fixes after a deleted plist is reinstalled during shut down and reboot.

For some reason I don't even have a Finder plist...

EDIT: My bad, I was in the wrong folder. Deleted it and still the same issue. I even tried the terminal command again and nothing.
