After install goes to grey apple screen and does nothing.

Can some one help me I am having trouble Installing it. I burned it 3 different times and it still does not work. ok it says it has installed and then it says it needs to restart and then it loads to a grey Apple Logo and then that is as far as it goes. I hooked up my desktop monitor. and guess what still nothing, even used the usb loader and still did work. I have tried the following. it never got to the part where it asks me to give my information setting it up.
