After 10.15.4 Supplemental Update, No Sound on Youtube

I have a similar issue where I don't have sound effects. My volume rocker makes noise and YouTube and videos and music work for me but when I copy or delete or even sound effects in iMessage don't work after the update. It's very strange. I could see if no sound worked at all but it seems like all sound works, but effects from the OS don't.... suggestions?
