Guy's,
looking at building a replacement for my 2011 iMac. Its still going strong, but I need to use VMWare Fusion and have 4 VM running for a work lab. I can get all this running on my i5 32G iMac, but the VMs are running like dogs.
Whats I was thinking is getting a samsung 4K monitor and building a "Mac Pro" like system. My questions are:
Is there any point in looking at multiple CPU's or am I best going for a Core i7-6700K.
Im looking at the build guides and the Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3 Ultra motherboard doesn't seem to be available in the UK.
I only have £600 to spend excluding monitor
Thanks,
ian.
