Hi I am planning on building a DIY wifi card. I had a few questions. I was planning on either going with BCM94321MC or BCM94322MC. I was wondering if there is a big difference in performance between the two. There definitely is one in price.

I was wondering if its worth spending the extra cash for the BCM94322...what else does it have to offer over 94321. Seems like the the first and last link for the BCM94322 show similar cards and the middle one shows a difference BCM94322....The middle link is also double the price...are they the same products?

Lastly...sorry for so many questions...just want to make sure I order the right parts...which mini PCI to PCI-E adapter has worked the best for people?

BCM94321MC - Dual-Band 802.11n PCI Express® MiniCard Reference Design
Dual-Band 802.11n PCI Express® MiniCard Reference Design

The BCM94321MC reference design enables manufacturers to incorporate draft-802.11n Wi-Fi® capabilities into notebook PCs and other devices that support the new PCI Express bus architecture. The reference design integrates Broadcom's new Intensi-fi® solutions, including the Broadcom's best-performing 802.11 radio (the BCM2055), and 2.4/5 GHz baseband and media access controller (the BCM4321). By supporting multiple simultaneous data (or "spatial") streams, Intensi-fi client adapters can achieve data rates of over 300 Mbps and more reliable wireless coverage.

In addition, dual-band operation allows Intensi-fi designs to be compatible with millions of 802.11a/b/g devices already on the market. Greater performance and interoperability not only provides Wi-Fi users with a flawless multimedia experience, but also reduces product support costs for manufacturers.

Features
Applications

Broadcom's first IEEE 802.11n draft-compliant Wi-Fi® reference design for PCI Express notebook design solutions
Two spatially multiplexed streams support data rates up to 270 Mbps
Compatible with installed base of 802.11a/b/g devices
Leverages Broadcom's proven OneDriver™ software to deliver superior performance, ease-of-use and security features, including SecureEasySetup™

BCM94322MC - Dual-Band 802.11n PCI Express® MiniCard Reference Design
Dual-Band 802.11n PCI Express® MiniCard Reference Design

The BCM4322 MiniCard reference design is the world's first single-chip 802.11n solution. Designed using 65 nanometer CMOS processes, the BCM4322 combines all of the elements of a wireless LAN (WLAN) subsystem -- including power amplifiers -- onto a single silicon die. As a result of this unprecedented integration, the new Intensi-fi® solution is half the size of previous solutions and can reduce manufacturing costs by up to 40 percent.

In addition, the BCM4322 is the first solution to enable Wi-Fi™ products to achieve over 200 Megabits per second (Mbps) of actual wireless throughput to support several simultaneous multimedia applications.

Features

Single-chip all-in-one die Baseband/MAC/Radio and power amplifier for 2x2 802.11n applications
802.11n Draft 2.0 compliant Wi-Fi solution. Fully compatible with IEEE 802.11n Draft 1.0 and 802.11a/b/g legacy devices.
Single-chip 65nm solution and high system integration drives down the cost of 802.11n solutions to enable a new generation of media/consumer applications
CMOS integration and low power modes results in a 50% power reduction compared to previous generation solutions

darn it looks like someone bought the card off the first link. It was great deal BCM94322MC for $25. I was just about to order it. Seems like they only had one. Sucks....was looking at what else they have and how does the AR5BXB72 compare to the BCM94322 or BCM9432.

Anyone know which computer it was exactly used in?
